AGX-01 Megillot (Bug)
Long before the Divine Crusader conflict, mobile weapons development was slow but steady on Earth. This was because there was a known threat of alien invasion not only from blueprints found on meteor three, but from encounters with strange mobile weapons not crafted by human hands. These strange insect-like machines were not manned, but instead controlled remotely or by AI and sent by an unknown intelligent civilization that would be codenamed the "Aerogators". In the weeks and months leading up to the Divine Crusader uprising, Earth military instillations had been secretly attacked by these machines, which could only be fought off with the use of Gespenst machines. Smaller and more lightweight than any earth machines, these weapons could fly and utilize strange energy-based attacks. This made them extremely dangerous, and for this reason information regarding them was kept top secret.
In fact the Megillot was a mass produced scout machine deployed by the Ze Balmary Empire to keep watch on potential worlds for invasion. The Balmar posessed the ability to generate self replicating machines through the use of the Zyfluid Crystal and because of this there is theoretically no limit to the number of megillot that exist. For all intents and purposes, they can be said to be infinite in number.
Not knowing their true name or origin, the EFF has given the Megillot the code name AGX-01 Bug.
