The Banshee is a huge flying aircraft carrier. The FAF’s operations over the interior of Antarctica made it impossible to use ships like the Admiral as mobile bases of operations. At least two Banshees were built to allow the FAF to coordinate their operations anywhere over the surface of the continent. Unfortunately, the JAM infiltrate and compromise both of these carriers before the conflict is over.
