GUNBUSTER
Aim For The Top! (Top o Nerae!) aka Gunbuster is a 6 episode science-fiction OAV series from Studio GAINAX originally realeased in 1988/89. When huge, insectoid aliens threaten humanity gifted pilots are sought out in every nation of Earth. These young pilots are sent into space to engage the attackers in increasingly fierce battles. The best two pilots are selected to control Earth’s mightiest robot, the Gunbuster. Gunbuster’s story is inspired by Orson Scott Card’s novel Ender’s Game.
